Training and Grading with Sensei Brennan 14th June 2015
On Sunday 14th June 2015 we had a special training class for senior grades followed by grading for Kyu Grades with Sensei Frank Brennan 8th Dan KUGB. It was a great day all round and we're very grateful to Sensei Brennan for his time and the level of teaching. The Senior Class in particular was very intense working on form, technique, speed and power and everyone who attended commented on the excellence of the class.

2015 KUGB England Squad
Congratulations to York Elite Karateka Fraser Grice, Cayleigh McCartney, Connor Dunckley, James McNichol and Joseph Lines who have all been selected to the KUGB England Squad for 2015.
This is a big year with the World Championships in Poland and the European Championships in Crawley, England. We wish our Squad Members every success and look forward to cheering them all the way to the podium!
DATES FOR YOUR DIARY
The next Grading dates have also been confirmed and we are delighted that:
Sensei Garry Harford 7th Dan will be back with us on Sunday 20th September;
Sensei John Holdsworth 6th Dan and sensei Julie Nicholson on Sunday 20th December.
We are planning additional courses with Senior Instructors later in the year and will post dates and times once they are confirmed.
Adults Only Class - Thursday Evenings
We have now started an Adults Only Evening Class on Thursdays at 7pm. The class is aimed at parents and adult members who either fancy starting karate or improving their techniques. The class will be structured so all levels can benefit and it will include fitness and conditioning exercise more suited to adults than in an all-age class. For more information please ask at the dojo.
